BladeSkyn

Blade Dynamics manufacture next generation wind turbine rotors using unique modular technology. The blades are transformational in their performance and reliability, which is enabled by a fundamentally different manufacturing approach to conventional blades.

  • Large performance improvement
  • Modular manufacturing improves blade quality
  • Blades easily transportable in 2 short sections for local blade consolidation
  • Lightweight offshore blades up to 100m long
  • GL certified D49 blade

Blade Dynamics rotors are lighter, more powerful and more cost effective than existing technology. Turbines using this advanced technology produce more power, more reliably, over a longer service life and generate more profit for wind farm owners. The technology is enabling a new generation of larger and far more effective turbines. Blade Dynamics rotors typically increase annual energy production (AEP) by more than 10% and significantly improve the financial performance of wind farms.

Weighing less than 6 tonnes, the Dynamic 49 is the lightest blade of its size available and is easily transportable in multiple pieces. This blade demonstrates the future of wind energy.

Blade Dynamics are partners of The Dow Chemical Company and American Superconductor and are headquartered at the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility in Louisiana. The MAF facility is a high quality environment, in a secure NASA compound, with a deep water port, offering easy access to the USA and for international shipping. More information.
