CAD Designer - New Orleans
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing and maintaining two and three-dimensional CAD models of wind turbine blades and subcomponents.
Industry experience using three-dimensional CAD tools like CATIA, Solidworks or Pro/E and two-dimensional CAD using AutoCAD are a must.
- Knowledge of tool, mould and jig design in the wind energy, marine or aerospace industries would be a strong advantage. Previous experience drafting advanced composite structures is also a plus.
- The role will require continuous interaction with the aerodynamic, structural and manufacturing teams. Thus, this is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting young company and to make a significant difference to wind turbine technology.

Technical Operators Required - New Orleans
These are nonexempt salaried positions.
Qualified individuals will have the following education, experience and skills:
Education required:
- High school diploma or GED
Experience preferred:
- 1 year manufacturing or production
Skills/Qualifications:
- Written and oral communication skills in English.
- Able to work rotating shifts.
- Physically able to lift 45 lbs.
- Able to perform industrial math.
- Able to hear and follow verbal work instructions and to distinguish alarms.
- Able to work with hands to manipulate small objects.
- Able to see small objects, track moving objects, and to distinguish between all primary colors.
- Able to climb stairs or ladders to heights two and three stories above ground level repeatedly during a shift.
- Able to use powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Able to multi-task.
- Able to work within a culturally diverse team.
- Must be a quick learner, able to learn on-the-job, able to adapt to change, and be a team contributor.
Please be aware that our WORKING CONDITIONS may require the following from you:
- Exposure to chemicals and heavy machinery used in the manufacturing of wind turbine blades.
- Tolerance of temperatures greater than 100 degrees F and less than 32 degrees F.
- Wearing standard PPE, to include hard-hat, safety glasses, respirators, supplied air respirators and hearing protection.
- Walking distances that may exceed a mile and be able to work in areas exceeding 90 decibels along with hearing protection.
- Standing for up to 10 hours during a shift.
